BOWREX 40 has demonstrated controlled bow assistance on a recreational sailboat. Our next ambition is to explore scaled systems for larger yachts and commercial vessels, using purpose-designed deployment and retrieval equipment.
Shipboard davits and lifting arrangements offer a potential approach for lowering larger external propulsion units when needed and recovering them afterward. Vessel-specific engineering, power integration, safety systems, and performance testing will be essential.
