Traditional bow thrusters can be excellent permanent systems, but they usually involve haul-out, hull cutting, installation work, wiring, and permanent underwater hardware.

BOWREX does not claim that traditional bow thrusters are wrong. Permanent bow thrusters can be excellent solutions for many boats. BOWREX simply offers a different choice for owners who want practical bow assistance without cutting a tunnel through the hull.
