Bow assistance for the moments that matter.
BOWREX™ 40 is designed around practical boating situations where the bow needs help for a short period of time: docking, undocking, entering a slip, leaving a tight space, or handling a low-speed maneuver in a marina.
Docking
Helps the skipper manage the bow near a dock, slip, piling, or marina wall during short, controlled maneuvers.
Undocking
Provides an additional bow-assist option when leaving a tight position or preparing to turn in confined water.
Tight maneuvering
Useful in narrow fairways, confined marina spaces, and low-speed handling situations where timing matters.

Gentle EVA Foam Hull Contact
The EVA foam contact surface helps BOWREX™ sit gently against the hull during Smart Hull Landing™.
Wireless Remote + Emergency Wired Throttle
BOWREX™ includes both a wireless remote controller for normal operation and an emergency wired throttle for direct backup control when needed.
Port or Starboard Deploy / Hoist
The same deploy / hoist arrangement is designed to be used from either port or starboard for flexible onboard operation.
BOWREX Pusher + Power Pack
BOWREX™ pusher shown with the power pack setup. Battery, BMS, and charger are not included.
A bow thruster is installed. A bow pusher is deployed.
Traditional bow thrusters can be excellent permanent systems. BOWREX™ 40 is different because it is designed as a deployable bow-assist option for owners who want help during docking without cutting a tunnel through the hull.
No hull tunnel
No traditional bow thruster tunnel or permanent underwater tunnel hardware is required.
No underwater drag
Because BOWREX is retrieved after use, it does not remain underwater while sailing.
Use only when needed
Bow assistance is often needed in short docking moments. BOWREX is designed around that practical use case.
Smart Hull Landing™ and Ramp-Up Push.
These are BOWREX feature names that describe the customer-facing operating concept. Internal implementation details, control logic, and configuration are not disclosed on the public website.
Smart Hull Landing™
Refers to the BOWREX hull-side working concept used before bow assistance is applied.
Ramp-Up Push
Refers to the operator-commanded push concept used during short bow-assist moments.
BOWREX supports seamanship. It does not replace it.
Docking decisions still belong to the skipper. BOWREX™ 40 is designed to provide another practical tool for timing, positioning, and short-burst bow assistance.
Skipper-led maneuvering
The operator remains responsible for wind, current, rudder, throttle, prop walk, timing, and the docking plan.
Short-burst use
BOWREX is designed around practical docking moments, not continuous propulsion or autonomous boat control.
Technical materials are intentionally limited.
BOWREX Marine has filed patent applications covering key aspects of the BOWREX™ product concept and related technologies.
Customers, partners, advisors, and qualified collaborators may contact BOWREX Marine for appropriate next-step discussions.
