Docking thrust duty. Designed for controlled low-speed maneuvers and brief thrust bursts. Not intended for continuous propulsion.
The bowrex · $1449 CAD $1499 CAD Introductory price
The bowrex is an integrated docking thrust system for sailboats.
It is delivered as a complete engineered assembly: the drive, control electronics, wiring, and throttle remain permanently wired as one unit.
Deployment is mechanical and immediate: lift from the case, position over the rail, lower into the water, switch on, apply controlled thrust.
Operation can be performed at the bow or from the cockpit using a throttle extension cable.
Engineering notes
- Complete engineered assembly. Delivered ready for deployment.
- Defined duty profile. Low-speed maneuver assistance and controlled burst operation.
- Not continuous propulsion. Designed around a defined duty cycle.
- Permanently wired system. No connection steps during deployment.
