BOWREX is a deployable external bow thruster platform for sailboats — a deployable mini tug for your bow.
This early in-water video shows the BOWREX housing producing a visible water stream during short-burst operation.
The purpose of this video is to show the basic in-water thrust stream, propeller flow, and deployable operation before larger sailboat demonstrations are published.
BOWREX is designed to be carried on board, deployed for docking, used for short controlled bow pushes, and retrieved after use.
No hull drilling.

BOWREX was developed from the tugboat principle: controlled side force at the bow, applied only when the skipper needs help during close-quarters maneuvering.
Modern lithium batteries, high-power BLDC motors, and smart control logic make it possible to carry compact electric thrust on board and use it only when docking or undocking.
