Description

BOWREX Platform System is a deployable external bow control platform engineered specifically for sailboats.

Unlike traditional tunnel thrusters, BOWREX requires no hull penetration, no permanent underwater installation, and no continuous drag. The system is deployed only when needed during docking and undocking, then retrieved and stowed.

This product is an engineered platform system — not just a housing or a collection of parts. It provides the structural, mechanical, and layout foundation required to build a functional external bow control system.

BOWREX Platform System is not a complete propulsion unit.

The following components are user-supplied:

• Motor
• ESC / VESC controller
• Battery system
• Throttle / control interface
• Wireless control system

BOWREX is engineered for real-world docking conditions.

• Short-burst bow control (not continuous thrust)
• Single-side deployment and operation
• User-controlled positioning and activation
• Works in coordination with the main engine

The system is designed to provide controlled bow correction during docking.
Like steering a vehicle, excessive input can result in overcorrection — proper use is based on short, controlled bursts.
